At Texas Corporate Homes, we pride ourselves on hosting the highest-quality guests in residential real estate. In fact, 80–90% of our stays are homeowners themselves, placed through insurance carriers, relocation firms, or large employers. That’s a big reason why our collection rate is 99.4%, compared to about 95% for traditional long-term rentals.

To maintain this high standard, every guest who stays in our homes goes through a background check process. Here’s how it works:

  • These organizations typically run their own background checks (criminal + credit).
  • Their policies are strict and comprehensive.
  • In cases where they do not perform their own checks, we run an industry-standard TransUnion background check (credit + criminal).

  • Direct bookings: We run the same TransUnion background check (credit + criminal).
