Staying in your Property During Vacancy

We understand that there may be times when you wish to use your property for personal stays while it is not occupied by a guest. To ensure your stay is seamless and that the home remains guest-ready for future bookings, the following process applies.

Please note that personal use of properties is not recommended, as bookings can occur quickly and may be lost while the home is unavailable. Texas Corporate Homes also avoids coordinating calendar availability with owners in a manual fashion.

🗓️ Scheduling Your Stay

To ensure privacy and prevent unexpected check-ins, the property must be pulled off the market for the duration of your stay.

  • Advance Notice

Please notify us as early as possible so we can block the calendar on all booking platforms or inform quoted parties that the home will not be available.

  • Existing Bookings

We cannot cancel existing guest reservations to accommodate a homeowner stay. Owners should review availability in the Owner Portal before planning personal use.

🧹 Post-Stay

Make-Ready Fees

When a homeowner stays in the property, the home transitions from “vacant/inspected” to “occupied.”

To meet standards for the next paying guest, a professional cleaning is required immediately after departure.

  • The homeowner may coordinate this professional cleaning directly, or
  • Texas Corporate Homes can arrange the cleaning, which will be billed to the homeowner

🛠️ Other Notes

Maintenance

If any maintenance issues are observed during the stay, they should be reported immediately so they can be addressed before the next guest arrives.
